COD Black Ops 7, Season 1, Maddox RFB Weapons, No-Barrel Loadouts & Nukes

Do you remember how dominant the Maddox was in Black Ops 4 back seven years ago? It was a gun that defined an age. With the official release of bo7 bot lobbies, this legend has been brought back.

Most of the time, developers water down or balance a classic to make it mediocre. Maddox RFB stands out as an exception.

I have run extensive tests on Nuketown Domination, and Kill Confirmed. I am confident that it is not only back, but might even be better. The best weapon in the game is this one, regardless of whether you are a serious player looking to get 100+ kills or a casual user just trying survive.

The Level 1 Anomaly - buy bo7 codes

It's not necessary to have attachments in order to dominate this gun.

I entered my very first match, literally with a Level 1, naked Maddox. There was no grip, sight or anything. The result? I dropped 106 Kills and ordered a tactical Nuke.

What does this mean to you

You can bypass the difficult leveling phase in which you are usually destroyed by your gun because it kicks like a muley.

Visuals : The iron sights are in a good condition and ready to be used.

Recoil: The beam will remain steady even without a foregrip.

Hack Accusations : By the time I played my first game, my opponent team thought I had wall-hacked, and even my teammates asked if I were an AI.

You know that the base statistics are faulty when a weapon makes the lobby believe you're cheating from the first time you use it.

 The Zero-Barrel Meta Loadout

The base gun is an absolute monster. However, we would like to make it into a beam of laser light that feels similar to the classic BO4 game. This is the final setup, after you've unlocked everything. It's strange, but I don't have a barrel. The range is good enough, but we're looking for pure speed and handling.

 ELO Sight

You know that this is essential if you have played BO4. ELO is better than iron sights for aiming at targets.

 Underbarrel EM Study 90 Grip

This is your sweet spot. It allows you to have horizontal recoil and make the gun shoot straight while increasing your sprinting velocity. It keeps your shots accurate while making you harder to strike.

 Magazine: 50 Round Extended Magn

Secret: the 50-round mag has no disadvantages at this time. No movement penalty, no reload penalty. This is free ammunition.

Alternative: The Plumage Fast Magazine (40 rounds), if you are a reloader, is a great choice. I, however, prefer the 10 extra bullets to be able to kill multiple targets.

 Rear Grip Mobile Quickdraw Grip

This gives you that snappy sensation. This increases your ADS speed and slide-to fire speed. You can still play aggressively to win gunfights if you are caught sprinting.

 Stock: ADS Movement

This increases the speed of your strafe movement (aim-walking). You can dance to the left and right during a face-toface gunfight.

Combat Realism: Surviving The Ghost Meta

You are not invincible just because you have the best gun. During Nuke runs I discovered the most dangerous combo to your streak. The Ghost Perk and Scout Perk.

I was able to see Ghost players even when I had earned my HARP.

If you depend solely on the minimap you will perish.

In some cases, I was mistakenly shot in the back when I assumed a lane to be clear because I was holding my HARP. Use your game sense and eyes (Squad Link is helpful here) instead of blindly following red dots.

 Perk Setup:

Scavenger - The Maddox consumes ammunition. You need to read this.

Gung-Ho: Ideal for reloading as you sprint away from danger.

Looper allows you to earn multiple streaks in one lifetime (UAV/HARP).

To keep your map clean and to counter Counter-UAVs, you can use the Perk Vigilance.

The Nuke Story, A Lesson in Resistance

I'll show you how this loadout performs under pressure by showing you my Kill Confirmed final match.

I was five minutes away from the Nuke, and sat on a Brutal Award (25 kills). Suddenly, an enemy Guard Dog appeared. If you have played BO7 you will know that these are tanks.

The dog pursued me all over the map. The Maddox had a superior movement speed, so I was able to slide-cancel and turn away from the dog. I then threw half a mag at him, turned around, and kept running.

 Why we build for Mobility

If I built it for range, that dog would've killed me. Due to the speed of the gun, I managed to kill the dog, flip the spawn and secure the final Nuke kill.

 FAQ: Common Questions

Q: Is this version better than BO4's?

A: Honestly, yes. The hit registration is crisper in BO7, and it's more forgiving due to the fact that the mag holds 50 rounds.

Q: Why are barrels not attached?

A: Maddox already has a powerful strike. The addition of a barrel can slow your ADS speed or movement. The gun really shines if you treat it as a hybrid SMG/AR. You don't want to ruin your agility just for a small range booster.

 Q: I don't yet have ELO vision.

You can grind your way through the levels. Iron sights are useful (better that most), but ELO unlocks all the potential of this gun.

 \ Final Verdict

Maddox RFB has entered its Honeymoon Phase. It is extremely powerful, fun and statistically better than any other Assault Rifle.

Developers are known to take fun features and nerf them. This class is perfect for those who want to get their first Nuke in the game or simply to have your teammates gush at you when you reach 100 kills.

Take advantage of the free wins and equip the EM Study 90 & ELO sight before the patch notes come out. Good luck! I'll be seeing you on the leaderboard.
